During the winter months the articulated branches of these storied oaks are at their finest. Sprawling across the sky with its twists and turns these large oaks give character to the surrounding hills. Wanting to highlight the reach of the tree branches I ended up perching beneath the base of an oak as one arm of the tree seemingly reaches out to a distant tree.
