The walls of slot canyons always differ. While I am more used to seeing wavy sweeping sandstone, this particular wall had more of a rooftop shingle look with blocks stacking on top of blocks. The glow helped create a lit surface and a shadowed surface to emphasize the textures of each sandstone 'block'.
